Based in Helensvale, we're a proud Gold Coast firm with connections to the area that go back 27 years

Paul Simpson

Director | Chartered Accountant

Paul Simpson is a Chartered Accountant with over three decades of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management. He commenced his career in Sydney, where he held senior roles with leading accounting firms before transitioning into financial management positions within large private enterprises and ASX-listed companies across the commercial sector.

Since relocating to the Gold Coast over 20 years ago, Paul has developed a strong reputation for advising small to medium-sized businesses on a wide range of financial matters.

Paul is known for his commitment to client relationships, maintaining ongoing communication and delivering practical, results-driven advice tailored to each client’s needs.

Outside of his professional life, Paul is a dedicated sports enthusiast, a long-time supporter of the Cronulla Sharks and Sydney Swans, and enjoys playing tennis and indoor cricket. He recently completed his first half marathon, reflecting his disciplined and goal-oriented approach both personally and professionally.

Natasha Smith

Senior Accountant | Chartered Accountant

Natasha Smith is a highly skilled Senior Accountant with over a decade of experience in taxation and business advisory services. Since joining Etairos in 2010, she has completed her Bachelor of Commerce, attained the Chartered Accountant status in 2014, and progressed to a senior position within the firm.

Natasha provides tailored accounting and advisory support to a broad range of clients, with a strong focus on strategic tax planning, compliance, and business performance. She plays an integral role in the development of emerging professionals within the firm, offering mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Her commitment to forward-thinking financial solutions and a client-centric approach underpins her reputation for professionalism and reliability.

Outside of work, Natasha channels her determination into maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle. Whether she’s training at the gym, competing on the football field, or enjoying time in nature, she embraces physical activity as a way to recharge, stay focused, and promote overall wellbeing.

Kylie Bull

Practice Manager | SMSF Specialist

Kylie Bull is the Practice Manager at Etairos and has been an integral part of the team since 2010. With over a decade of experience supporting both clients and internal operations, Kylie plays a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of the firm.

She specialises in payroll administration, bookkeeping, and the setup and taxation of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs). Known for her approachable manner and attention to detail, Kylie builds strong relationships with clients and team members alike, delivering service with professionalism and care.

Outside of work, Kylie is deeply devoted to her family and enjoys sharing quality time over good food and lively conversation. A passionate football fan, she rarely misses a game, and her beloved dog, Mojo, is never far from her side. Her vibrant home life reflects the same care and commitment she brings to her professional relationships.

Tara Bernasconi

Client Services Coordinator

Tara Bernasconi has been a key member of the Etairos team for over ten years and is widely recognised as a trusted and approachable point of contact for our clients. With a strong commitment to service and exceptional communication skills, Tara ensures that client enquiries are managed promptly, accurately, and with care.

Her attention to detail, proactive approach, and genuine interest in client needs make her an invaluable asset to both the team and the clients she supports. Tara’s professionalism and personal touch contribute significantly to the positive relationships Etairos is known for.

Outside of work, Tara embraces an active and outdoors-focused lifestyle. She enjoys caravanning adventures, spending weekends involved in farming activities, and unwinding with a good game of footy. Jazmin Lewsam

Chartered Accountant

Jazmin Lewsam joined Etairos in 2016 and has steadily advanced through the firm, completing her Bachelor of Business/Commerce in 2021 and becoming a Chartered Accountant in 2024. She is known for her clear communication, client-focused approach, and ability to simplify complex tax matters.

Jazmin works closely with individuals and small businesses, providing tailored tax advice and practical support. She also specialises in training clients to effectively use Xero Accounting Software, ensuring they feel confident managing their finances.

Outside of her role at Etairos, Jazmin is actively involved in the surf lifesaving community, contributing her time and leadership as a nipper coach at Southport Surf Life Saving Club. Her passion for health and wellbeing is reflected in her active lifestyle, with a love for the beach, outdoor activities, and travel. Jazmin values strong personal connections and enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family.

Jaryd Simpson

Graduate Accountant

Jaryd Simpson is a Graduate Accountant at Etairos and a valuable member of the Accounting & Tax team. He completed his Bachelor of Business in 2023 and is currently undertaking further studies to become a Chartered Accountant.

With a naturally analytical mindset and a strong interest in financial systems, Jaryd supports clients with accurate reporting and tax compliance. His attention to detail and eagerness to learn ensure he delivers work of a high standard while continuing to grow professionally.

Outside of work, Jaryd’s disciplined nature and free-spirited outlook are reflected in his passions. A dedicated bookworm, he finds inspiration through reading and curating his personal library. He balances this focus with a love for travel, embracing new cultures and experiences with an open mind.

Elise Rudolph

Graduate Accountant
(Accounting & Taxation Major)

Elise Rudolph joined Etairos in 2020 as a part-time administrative assistant. She recently completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting and Taxation, and plans to continue her education with a degree in Chartered Accountancy in the near future.

Elise supports clients with the preparation of Individual Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS), and she regularly liaises with the ATO on their behalf. She also specialises in setting up new companies, managing ASIC and ATO registrations, and ensuring compliance requirements are met.

Outside of work, Elise maintains a well-organised and active lifestyle. Whether she’s planning weekend camping trips, keeping a consistent fitness routine at the gym, or engaging in outdoor activities, her structured approach reflects the same dedication and attention to detail she brings to her professional role.

Chloe Lloyd

Chartered Accountant

Chloe Lloyd joined Etairos in early 2025, bringing with her a strong academic foundation and practical experience. She completed her Bachelor of International Business/Commerce in 2020 and became a Chartered Accountant in 2024.

Known for her quiet confidence and exceptional attention to detail, Chloe delivers high-quality accounting and tax support across a broad range of client needs. Her methodical approach and reliability make her a valued member of the Etairos team.

Outside of Etairos, Chloe is actively involved in playing and coaching netball, reflecting her leadership skills and team-oriented mindset. She enjoys travelling, spending quality time with her family, and staying active with her two dogs, Ellie and Nala.

Connor Simpson

Administrative Assistant

Connor Simpson joined Etairos in 2025 as a part-time Administrative Assistant while studying for a Degree in Psychology. His ability to stay organised, meet deadlines, and support team efficiency has quickly made him a valuable member of the firm.

Connor is the primary point of contact for clients submitting tax information and plays a key role in preparing workpapers and documentation for processing by the accounting team. With a keen eye for detail and a thoughtful, methodical approach, he provides reliable support across a range of client and internal needs.

Outside of work, Connor maintains a strong interest in health and fitness, regularly attending the gym. He is also a published author, having written and released several books across various genres – demonstrating both creative talent and a strong commitment to personal development.

Jaeneen Cunningham

Jaeneen has been engaged in the financial services industry for over twenty years, working in banks in the retail and financial planning area and investment banking. She is an accomplished financial profiler and lending specialist. Jaeneen has owned and managed successful finance businesses since 1998 and has been nominated for and won many significant industry awards.

Jaeneen is proud of her two sons one of whom was in the Royal Australian Navy and now studies and plays rugby union in the USA, the other owns a Structural Landscaping Business. What spare time she has left is taken up by her eleven year old daughter.

Paul Cunningham

Paul is an accomplished finance professional, diversely experienced across a range of industries. He has worked primarily in financial management and business development roles in premium banking supporting financial planners. Most recently he has begun liaising with builders on behalf of clients wishing to construct new investment properties.

Paul has lived on the Gold Coast for 24 years in the same home he owner-built with his Father. He is a keen amateur astronomer and supports the Queensland Reds and St George Illawarra Dragons.

Paul Simpson

Paul has lived on the Gold Coast for more than 20 years. He became a qualified Chartered Accountant in 1994, gained experience at Manager level in several large Sydney accounting firms, and also has a wealth of experience in Financial Management roles within large private groups, and also public companies in the Commercial Sector.

Paul specialises in small business accounting and taxation, and assists his clients with buying and selling their businesses, management accounting requirements, cashflow, profit projections, business plans and advice.

Paul is always in contact with his clients and prides himself on his advisor/client relationships.

He is a passionate Sharks and Swans fan, enjoys travelling and playing indoor cricket and tennis.

He recently completed his first Half Marathon.

Jaeneen Cunningham

Natasha is a Senior Accountant, who has worked with Paul since 2010, while completing a Bachelor of Commerce in 2011 and becoming a Chartered Accountant in 2014. She started as a Junior Accountant and has worked her way through to her current role, where she advises and provides support to clients, while also mentoring the up-and-coming accountants within the firm.

She has knowledge in all areas of tax and business services and enjoys looking forward and planning with clients.

Out of the office you will find her in the gym, on the footy field or anywhere outdoors.

Kylie Bull

Kylie has worked with Paul since 2010. She is the Practice Manager at Etairos and loves making close connections with clients and staff.

Kylie specialises in Payroll, Bookkeeping and Self Managed Super Fund setups and tax.

Outside of work her passions are family, food, watching footy and her fur baby Mojo.

Tara Bernasconi

Tara has worked at Etairos for over 9 years and in that time has become a valued point of contact for all Etairos clients.

 Tara has an amazing ability to connect with our clients and actively engages in conversations and pays attention to detail. This ensures that she can address any queries or requests promptly and effectively.

 Tara loves an outdoor life outside of work. She loves caravanning, weekend farming and watching footy.

 Her family is everything.

Jazmin Lewsam

Jazmin started working with Paul Simpson at Etairos in 2016 and completed her Bachelor of Business/Commerce in 2021.  She became a Chartered Accountant in 2024.

 Jaz is an excellent communicator and is always available to guide clients through the complexities of the tax system.   She specializes in helping clients learn and use Xero Accounting Software.

Outside of Etairos she is involved in surf lifesaving and nipper coaching at Southport SLSC. She loves the beach, being active, travelling, and hanging out with friends and family. 

Jaryd Simpson

Jaryd completed his Bachelor of Business in 2023 and is currently studying to become a Chartered Accountant. 

Jaryd is part of the Accounting & Tax team and has a natural analytic mind.

Jaryd likes to read in his spare time and is an avid bibliophile who delights in adding new titles to his personal library.  Overseas travel is a passion, along with the gym, family and live music.

 

Elise Rudolph

Elise started working with us in 2020 as a part-time admin assistant and is now currently working towards becoming an accountant. She will graduate with a degree in Business, majoring in Accounting & Taxation soon.

Elises’ role includes preparation of Individual Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements and communicating with the ATO on behalf of clients. She specializes in setting up new companies and organising ASIC and ATO registrations. 

Elise is your main point of contact for providing all your tax and BAS information.

Outside of work, Elise loves going to the gym, spending the weekend camping or doing any outdoors activity.
